- Food coloring paste*, gel, or liquid (colors of choice)
Directions
- Gather one box of Odense Marzipan and four colors of food dye: red, green, grey, and white.

- Split marzipan into five balls and dye one each: red, green, grey, white, and plain. Knead until fully colorful.

- Separate two smaller sections from the red ball and shape one into a cylinder shape as the gnome’s body.

- Shape four small spheres from the green ball and attach to the body as two coat buttons, and two feet.

- Create a head from a part of the plain marzipan and attach to the body.

- Make a sphere from the plain marzipan and attach to the face for the nose.

- Create a pointy cone from the green marzipan to make the hat.

- Roll out a thin piece of red marzipan for the rim of the hat, and wrap it around the bottom.

- Add the hat on top of the head.

- As a variation, repeat making the head, nose, and body, then wrap a thin, rolled piece of plain marzipan around the bottom of the coat as a trim.

- Add a flat triangular shape for the beard.

- Make a festive hat by making a cone shape from the red marzipan, then adding plain marzipan as the rim and a small sphere on top.

- As a variation, repeat steps 3-4 with grey marzipan as the coat and shoes.

- Shape a red cone as the hat.

- Repeat these steps as many times as you like, and create your own unique Marzipan Christmas Gnomes. Have fun and enjoy!
