Buche de Noel Mushrooms

- 1-7oz box Odense Marzipan
- Red, brown, and green food coloring
Directions
- Gather marzipan and food dye. Divide log into four. Leave one section undyed. Dye the other three red, dark green, and dark brown.


- For the red mushrooms, make two stems with the undyed marzipan. Divide the red ball into two and shape two domed mushroom caps. Attach caps to the stems.

- Pinch off teensy bits of undyed marzipan, roll between fingers, and place evenly around the mushroom caps.

- Make two green stems and two green domed caps. Attach caps to stems. Dust with matcha powder if desired.

- Make four plain marzipan stems. Divide brown marzipan into four cone shaped caps. Attach to stems.

- Using the last of the plain marzipan, make two stems and two caps. Attach to each other and dust with cocoa powder if desired.
