Almond Strawberry Oat Bars
Ingredients
- 1-7 oz box Odense Almond Paste, grated
- 1 1/2 sticks (12 tablespoons) salted butter, cut into small pieces
- 1 1/2 cups whole oats
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup light brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1-12 oz jar strawberry jam
- 1 cup chopped strawberries

Directions
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Spray a 9 X 13 inch baking pan with nonstick cooking spray.
- Add Almond Paste, butter, oats, flour, brown sugar, granulated sugar, baking powder and salt to a large bowl. Toss with spoon or fingers until ingredients are incorporated. Cut into small crumbs, using a pastry blender. Press 3 cups of almond paste mixture into prepared pan.
- In a medium bowl, mix jam and strawberries until spreadable. Evenly spread jam mixture over crust and cover with remaining almond paste mixture.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until light brown. Cool on wire rack and cut into squares.
