Step One

Form your marzipan bunny body into an egg-ish shape.

Step Two

It should stand on its own and be sturdy enough to hold up the head.

Step Three

Roll two small pieces of marzipan for the feet.

Step Four

Place the feet at the bottom of the body. Using a knife, make two marks on each foot to make the toes.

Step Five

Make two arms by rolling two small pieces of marzipan into tapered logs and secure them to the body.

Step Six

Here’s what you should have so far.

Step Seven

Next, form the head and ears. Make a sphere with enough marzipan to pull the two ears from.

Step Eight

Pull a thick tab of marzipan from the sphere. With scissors, cut down the middle to form ears.

Step Nine

Pull and shape the ears to your liking.

Step Ten

Place the head onto the body.

Step Eleven

Dye a little bit of the marzipan black with food coloring. Roll two small eyes and place on the head.

Step Twelve

Dye enough marzipan light pink for the bunny’s nose and tail. Place a very small bit for the nose.

Step Thirteen

Roll the tail into a sphere and place on the bunny’s behind.
