Almond Cinnamon Crescent Rolls

Our rich cinnamon almond filling makes store bought dough taste homemade.

INGREDIENTS

1-7 oz box Odense Almond Paste, grated 
6 tablespoons butter, room temperature
3 tablespoons sugar 
2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
1 tablespoon all-purpose flour 
3-8 oz packages refrigerated crescent roll dough

DIRECTIONS

  1. Preheat oven to temperature on crescent roll package. Line a baking sheet with parchment or foil.
  2. With electric mixer, beat grated Almond Paste, butter, sugar, cinnamon and flour until well combined. A food processor works equally well.
  3. Unroll crescent dough and separate into triangles. Spread filling like butter. Roll dough toward point of triangle.  Place on baking sheet and curve into crescent shape. Repeat* with remaining 2 packages.
  4. Bake 2 or 3 minutes more than package directions (14-16 minutes), or until puffed and a deep golden color. 

Notes

Filling can be refrigerated for one week and used as needed.
